When I copy pattern section “A” to pattern section “B”...I can’t figure out how to edit the sounds on “B” without effecting section “A”...I want to mute the same sounds in “B” that plays in section “A” WITHOUT having them muted in “A” but I can’t figure it out…

Which product do you own?
Editing the SOUND of something should affect anything that plays from the sequencer - so it is not clear what it is you want to edit?
