Hi folks, I sold a MM8 today to a fellow on Ebay . There is an issue with sustain . EG there is no sustain. The chap has a FC4 pedal normally used on a CP-300 and he has tried to use a Kurweil and a Korg Pedal to no avail. I’ve advised a factory reset (I forgot to do this before I sold) ... I used a FC4 pedal with it (I kept if as I’m buying a MOX8) Any ideas why this is happening… .... My Sons’ PSR 333 did have a problem with the FC4 pedal which was similiar.... Buying a MOX8 hopefully tommorrow Gary W |

I had the same problem once (same synth);
Solution: 25 times in and out (must be corrosion). ;JOOP! |

Sciuriware ... was that corrosion on the jack in the unit??? And did you insert and re-insert 25 times ....must be a pretty small peice of corrosion.... |

He did open it up .. The solder was dodgey and he solder it himself… all is fine now… They don’t make em like they used to ..... |
