The question is how to load Performance from XOA archive saved on my USB. I can load necessary sound or arpegio from XOA archive and how to do the same with performance, which I need?

We will assume you own a Motif XS.
Place the Motif XS in PERFORMANCE mode
Press [PERFORM]
Connect the USB drive with the file to the “TO DEVICE” USB port
Press [FILE]
Set TYPE = “performance”
Use the LEFT CURSOR [<] to move the highlight to the DIRECTORY area.
Use the DATA WHEEL or the [INC/YES] button to highlight the *.X0A File you wish to open
Press [ENTER]
The file will open and [USER 1] will light, showing a list a individual PERFORMANCES in the USER 1 bank of the file. Use the [USER 2] and [USER 3] buttons to view lists of PERFORMANCES in those banks of the file.

Select the PERFORMANCE you wish to load
Use the RIGHT CURSOR [>] arrow and the down Cursor to move to the lower portion of the screen and select a target destination (where you want to LOAD the PERFORMANCE).

Once set, LOAD will appear above [SF2] and you can proceed to Load the individual PERFORMANCE.
If the data PERFORMANCE contains USER VOICE data, you will receive a warning message that the PERFORMANCE You selected uses USER VOICE locations. If that is the case, you will need to go to the VOICE and ensure that the proper VOICES are being referenced by the file.

Go to PERFORMANCE mode
Call up the PERFORMANCE you just loaded.
Press [F2] VOICE from the main screen to view the locations being referenced by this data.
For example, say your PERFORMANCE points PART 1 to USER 2: 002(A02) - make sure that the VOICE in this location reads that is the VOICE you expect.

If it is not (that is, you have loaded in another library in the meantime) simply set the FILE TYPE = “VOICE”, and load the VOICE “USER 2: 002” back to the USER 2:002(A02) location. Rinse and repeat for each USER VOICE referenced in your PERFORMANCE. The ALL data file will have the VOICES in their original locations. If USER VOICES were used you simply have to restore them to their referenced locations.
