This is the powerful library of Roland’s XP50 or JV1080 factory stock Drumkits that I have multisampled, programmed, mapped and then recreated the 8 original drumkits for use on Motif:

001 - PopDrum 1
002 - PopDrum 2
003 - PowerDrum
004 - GM Drum
005 - RaveDrum
006 - HouseDrum
007 - JazzDrum
008 - BrushDrum

The file size is 50MB due to the samples and so you must use the RAM (DIMM) memory installed on Motif.

>>> Please don’t forget to backup of all your performances, voices, songs, etc from your Motif before load this library <<<

See if jcr works as the password. That’s what has been Cesarsound’s password for his RAR files traditionally.

PS: It works!

Here is a Demo of this drum sounds library, that I’ve recorded directly from my Motif ES8 (no other processing).

I’ve included ARPs in each voice.

Hi. I clicked the links above, but got a browser warning and a block, saying that the connection is not secure, and that the owner of Rapidshare has not configured their website properly. I really would like those drumkits, but not through this website. Can you upload them to DropBox, as you have before?

The XS file loads to my xf, but there are no samples, therefore no sounds. No arps, either, though switch is on automatically.

What size is the file? It should be about 50 MB.

To which memory did you load the samples? The file has 496 Waveforms, and can’t be loaded to an XF’s User (USR) 128 MB SDRAM. If you try, a “Waveform full” message will be displayed, and none will be loaded.

If you don’t have a flash module installed, you can’t load the samples to an XF. If you do have one or two flash modules, you could load USR to FL1 or FL2.

By the way, this library is potentially very wasteful of space on a flash module. Although it’s only 50 MB, it uses up nearly 1/4 of the maximum 2048 Waveforms a module can store. If some similar libraries are loaded, it could be possible to “fill” a module with only about 200 MB of data.

I loaded each voice individually, as a Single Voice load, to User SDRAM, as I do not have Flash Expansion installed. I never got any “Full” message whatsoever. The file is 50 MB

It appears that the file isn’t to Yamaha specs, as the associated samples don’t load with one Drum Voice/Kit - I tried on both my XF and XS.

As to Arps not loading, that’s normal - they only load with an entire “All” or “All Arpeggio” file.

So the only option would be to load to a Flash Module?
