The MOX6 came so close to being exactly what I was looking for that it could have been made as a special order for me. If they had added aftertouch and 128 polyphany(I haven’t noticed dropped notes) and dropped the semi-weighted keybed(just a preference) it would have been exactly what I would have ordered as a custom made unit. It sounds like a motif XS, it is similar to get around on, it has many of the most important features but it is very light, easy to port size wise, is pleasant to look at and is reasonably priced. The buttons and knobs seem sturdy and durable. I like it. I don’t work for Yamaha but I say this; try it and you might ask the title question. Seems like they aimed at the average working keeping their day job musician and hit the target. |

I agree. I would’ve like to seen a MoX7, but I understand that the 76 key models tend not to sell as well as the 61 & 88. I think the MoX will be a hit! |
