Hi everbody, i got 2 questions to ask i need someone to pls put me through right now. Am about to get a motif xs8 next week instead of the xf cos of the firewire interface in xs8 which costs extra in the xf. Am buying the xs cos of the firewire to save me an extra cost on xf even though i dont know yet what firewire really does lol. Haven’t used motif at all.
Question 1: is it really worth it buying xs8 just because of firewire instead of its successor?

I am as well thinking of saving my money by buying just the xs6 or xf6(if not too expensive anyway) and get some other things useful along with it moreover, i will also need speakers for output and other things like cables etc and materials for my studio cos i’d like to set up one if firewire is not that needed in the studio.
Question 2: in case i want to set up a studio, what are the materials needed beside a PC and active monitors? Thanx

In your case you have a lot of options. Dude always buy for tomorrow and not for today. Get the XF 2 Preference and money what you like and how much you wanna spend!
