Will the manuals and voice- and data lists be released before the actual synth is out?..

By popular demand there will be no Owner’s Manuals with the Motif XF… we decided since no one reads them anyway and those that do, hate them, we’d try something new :-)

I’d imagine they are going to posted pretty soon now…

Motif XS Manuals… coming soon

I also like to read manuals, specially from machines I don’t own :P
I’ve been checking for the XF manuals in http://www.yamahasynth.com almost everyday since its announcement.

I really love to read a well written and well presented manual, there is a huge amount of work behind.

That’s not good either. You should read the manual as you explore the machine. I haven’t read the entire manual of the XS, simply because there are functions I don’t currently need.

But yeah, I admit, I love to have the manual before the machine is released, to have an overview of what it can do and have better understanding and a bigger picture of what’s written in the specifications charts.

Exactly the same with me. I like to have the manual, preferably in PDF format, to explore the product before try and buy it.

Hello,

Yes i love too readind the manual before buying High-Tech machine.
I am always wary of effects of announcement and of advertising.
After that i go to my music store to try the keyboard and listen to it.
i experiment too what i found in the manual.

Wait and see!

Before I’ve bought my ES, I read all necessary things from manual, but mostly the most important things: how to select different playing modes and to hook-up computer. Other things comes later.
A good written manual in PDF is in almost all cases my first check in before final decision to buy equipment.

Well, now that I know “how” to read a Yamaha manual, I am looking forward to see this one.

But thank you, “Bad 1” for those Power User Guides!
