Hey Yamaha. How do u spend you’re time ?.. It takes to long for you’re team to come with something new, like sound banks for example. To come up with a new poor sound bank every 3 months is completely ridiculous .

So i can’t imagine how are u spending you’re time , if NO new sound banks are made. No new synth technologies. No new synth engine for flagship.NO NEW WAVEFORMS FOR FREE. How do u spend you’re time ?. U goo fishing every day ??. U play tennis ??. Or maybe you’re team is addicted to video games ?? and there is no time for u to create something better regarding Yamaha sound expansions , WAVEFORMS, and synth technologies ??.

Every time I think I click on a interesting topic, it turns out to be just one of your suggestive complaints.

I think you should find out how these companies work before asking impolite questions. I guess you have no idea about the process of sound design for these kinds of synthesizers whatsoever.

Take a look around on the internet, you can find a lot of information.

Take a look inside Motif XS, you can find a lot of practicing tools and u will find out that is simple to design you’re own sound in minutes. For me the problem is I CAN’T find a big selection of waveforms to choose the ones that i like..

If you look inside the Motif you will see that it already has many of these kinds of waveforms.  The Nord wave comes with 180 MB of sounds ( less than half the size of the XS and 1/4 the size of the XF ) so it is very reliant on after market libraries.

If you are specifically looking for analog waveforms, we would recommend Phat Aanalog from Easy Sounds. It’s available in the Motifator shop.

The R&D;work is long and very hard, but I agree with you about the quality and the offer of new libraries from Yamaha… (Let’s see Clavia...) But we should not be so hard with them, they work as you and me, and with the actual crisis they probably do what they can… What it’s sure is that if Yamaha will not support us we probably will not support Yamaha buying new keyboards… If I have to invest my money in hardware I prefer do it in something with a good support (Clavia).

i don’t need that Phat Aanalog bank ... What i’m trying to say is this

http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?tm=Libraries&cllibr=Nord_Sample_Library&clslib=Synth

If u luck there u will see that waveforms are per categories . For example synth section alone have more than 800 mb and is free .

String section alone have more than 350 mb waveforms and is free. ...
Maybe those waveforms are updated every week or month with new ones ... Synth sections is just crazy . It starts with Roland JX-3P,Polymoog Keyboard,DX-7....Maybe a new synth is sampled every month . I stay close to that page from now. Maybe next month they will sample some Oberheims ,Korgs, or Waldorfs..etc

Discrimination ?

The Yamaha team on these forums have been far more polite and respectful in responding to his relentless diatribe of idiotic posts than I ever would be. Quite frankly, I would probably have removed him from the forums a loooong time ago. Instead of constant complaints, if the Motif XS or XF is not for someone, then it is time for them to move on to where they can be productive instead of constantly whining and complaining. I had issues with Roland many years ago, my solution was to sell my Roland gear (while keeping all of my Yamaha gear) and move on so I could be productive. It is wise to be part of the solution rather than being the problem. My two cents worth.

THIS IS JUST YOU’RE OPINION doesn’t means you’re right..If u think that everything is alright with you’re Motif XS why to offend ? Be happy . I have that feeling like u come from the past. Let’s say u came from 1500 and u think that the earth is not round. U think that the earth is flat and u think that u can walk to infinite in all directions because the earth is infinite flat. So i try to explain to U ,that the earth is round. And u scream HERESY !..Maybe u are to ANCIENT ? to understand the liberty of expression ?

We should make one thing clear.

Bad Mister and Yamaha US both work for Yamaha Corporation of America. Our job and primary responsibility is to support US customers.  There are Yamaha distributors around the world who’s job is to support Yamaha customers in their area.

We answer technical questions here from everyone around the world because it helps everyone in the community.

The reason we point this out is because, first, we can’t answer questions about pricing , delivery and support policies around the world because they are simply not part of our responsibilities.
Also second , our job is to represent US customers needs to Yamaha in Japan.  Sometimes the priorities of customers in other areas will be different than customers in the US. The best thing to do is contact your local Yamaha distributor for information about local support.

We do all we can to help increase the communication between Yamaha subsidiaries and their customers.  For example it was Keyfax and Yamaha US that helped put together the registration pages at http://www.motifxf.com where you can sign up for more info from your local Yamaha representative in multiple languages including German, French, Italian, Polish, Turkish and Romanian.

If you live outside the US, you should register at http://www.MotifXF.com as Yamaha Europe and Yamaha Canada will be providing information specific to the area where you live.

If you live in the US, you can register at the same URL, to get information from Yamaha Corp of America about promotions and events that will be taking place in the US.

Wow - they must not teach common sense, courtesy and the like where ever the hell this jerko is from. I am surprised that someone in Yamaha would even reply to this nonsense. You bought something ... if it did not work out the way you want then you sell it.
