I know I’m gonna love it and I haven’t even seen, heard nor touched it in person yet. But then again I’m coming from having the ES. So for us ES users this is a wonderful, marvelous and exciting time and experience for me.

Kday...I agree!...all i needed to do was read the specs and i already know that this is going to be the perfect match for my XS ...FLASH MEMORY!!! COME ON PEOPLE!!! I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THAT ONE UNTIL THE XF CAME OUT....is this a first for a synth workstation?

PEOPLE!!..Please take the time to really learn how to use these amazing products. I was frustrated with the motif XS at first like a few other people, but once i signed up to motifator and started digging into all the possiblities...and with the help of Bad Mister & fellow Motifators....it all finally started falling into place...BUT U HAVE TO PUT THE TIME AND EFFORT!!!...I spent countless hours trying to unlock all the secrets the motif XS had to offer!!

ONCE AGAIN...I LOVE U YAMAHA!!!! lol

I spend too a lot of time to unlock the secrets of my ES! Wow! A long time I studied the owner manual and got my certificate!

Then I bought Roland and KORG synths and was so disappointed: No secrets anymore! I could play, make music!

And if I buy a new KORG or Roland or whatever, it is new.

Who has the money to buy the same with a little bit more.

And my impression is: You never realy get, what you want. But: Next keyboard!! Buy!!

I think the Alesis Fusion had flash rom in it a few years ago.

I think the Nord Wave has 180mb of Flash Rom in it.

Well I know how he feels, I felt the same way when I got my ES, but did not get to really enjoy it, and when I finally got the time, I got an XS, and my whole musical world changed.

I don’t expect to get an XF, but I like what Yamaha has done to imporve it, and PLUS we get FREE stuff for our XSs.
I thought about selling two of my boards for an XF, but changed my mind Yesterday.

YOU GOTTA LOVE THE LOOK OF THAT XF,, SWEET,, but they said that the sound engine is the same as the XS, sooooo no need to upgrade YET.
If you own a classic, or ES, then by all means, go for it, you won’t be sorry you did.

being a classic guy and now using it as a controller mostly, the XF may be the upgrade i’ve been waiting for. my argument here is i dont perform i’m mostly studio. soooo, software vs hardware ?
for the price of a XF or any board for that matter, i can buy many software programs with sounds already loaded.

i need to study up on this XF, Yamaha i need convincing !!!

Do you not realize the XF IS a XS with a LITTLE extra?? Flash IS great, but youd be buying it to sit alongside your XS?? CRAZY!
A little redundant I must say. If youre going to get the XF, think about it for a sec. Compare the specs, REALLY compare them. It IS an XS. I would recommend selling your XS if youre going to buy the XF. I try to think logically though.
