hi, i just bought a brand new 01x ( bstock...) and i want to use it with my xs8 through MLAN. I want to hear my xs8 via mlan on my 01x. I plugged my xs8 firewire 1 on my 01X wich is already plugged to my MAC. On my mac’s screen everything appears and both synchronize with studio manage, but even in standalone mode i can’t hear my xs8 unless i plug it via audio.

We assume you are using the mLAN Driver/mLAN Tools verison 1.2.0 for Mac OS X.

Plugging the units into each other with firewire does not make the virtual channel connections - it makes connecting them possible but you will need to use the Graphic Patchbay to route the firewire outputs from the Motif XS to the 01X

One possible routing situation is shown below:

Once you have the outputs of the XS to the channels of the 01X you to make sure your speakers are connected to the MONITOR OUTPUTS of the 01X and that the channels you want to hear are activated.

Thanks, now it works when i click on apply, but when i close the mlan patchbay and i connect the 01X with auto connector, it misses the connection with the motif
