You have an XS is that correct? Data that you record to the SONG or PATTERN sequencer can be converted into arpeggio data. You simply set the dialog box accordingly.

FIXED NOTE arpeggio types will playback exactly as you played them - this is ideal for drum patterns.

The manual covers the job: PUT TRACK TO ARPEGGIO on page 206

Basically you can record the drum data to a track of the sequencer in either SONG or PATTERN mode.

You then go to [JOB] > press [F5] TRACK > Select JOB 07: PUT TRACK TO ARPEGGIO.

Set the measure range to encompass your pattern - so for example say you recorded a four measure phrase - set the Measure range = 001-005

Target a USER ARP number 001 - 256

Since you are doing a drum pattern you can use just one Track of data…
Set the CONVERT TYPE = FIXED

Hi Bad_Mister and others,

I did create a very simple SLOW drum style with three tracks

Track 1: Kick
Track 1: Acoustic snare
Track 2: Closed and open hi-hats

and convert these three tracks to an user ARP, named “SLOW” using Convert Type “fixed” for all of three track.

After that I go to VOICE mode, set this user ARP to ARP #5 [SF5] and test the newly created ARP.  It unexpectedly played only Full Concert Grand sound without any drum voice at all.

I want to attach pictures for your view but I do not know.

Please help so that I can get the drum style played in ARP after conversion.

Many thanks
