I posted a question yesterday trying to figure out how to create a score from a midi track where notes below middle C go to the bass clef and above to the treble. After further thinking/talking about it, I think what I need to do is configure the XS8 so that keys at C4 (middle C) and above go to MIDI channel 1 and below to MIDI channel 2. Then when I save a MIDI file and take it into Sibelius, the score will parse as expected. So my question should have been and now is: How do you setup the XS8 so that the keyboard output is split between two MIDI channels where the top or bottom key is specified as middle C? TIA for sharing your knowledge.
