I’ve had my Motif Rack(1st Mo rack) for over a year now. I recently downloaded and installed the midi driver, Studio manager v2.3.1 and the Motif Rack editors on my Imac. When I start Studio Manager and go to add the editor modules I get the following error: Following components could not be loaded. Please ensure that you have installed required components correctly… It then identifies the two Motif Rack editors.I checked threads on this issue and found some one with similar issues but his issue was never answered. Please help. |

I am having the exact same problem and dialog on a mac pro with 10.5.8. I tried to revert to an earlier version of studio manager 2.18 but it won’t let me install. There is some component of the updated Studio manager still on my machine. Any idea how to find it and get rid of it. B |

Not sure if it has anything to do with the problem but the items you have checked are not a proper setup for using the Motif-Rack XS. You actually only want to mark the “Motif-Rack XS Main” in the INPUT column and the “Motif-Rack XS Main” in the OUTPUT column. Of course if you have a Motif-Rack, then you have installed the wrong EDITOR… or you have posted in the wrong forum (?) We are not sure which is the case… Please clarify. Your screen shot clearly indicates a Motif-Rack XS is detected… why you have the other items marked is a mystery? Why are they marked in the Studio Manager MIDI Setup? |

My apologies for posting in the wrong forum. I searched google using the text (Following components could not be loaded. Please ensure that you have installed required components correctly…) in the pop-up error window. It brought me to this forum, where the OP is having the same problem I’m having. When the problem surfaced, I was using the Motif Rack XS Editor for my Motif Rack XS. I’ve downloaded everything I can find at Yamaha, installed but nothing works, meaning I have the sme error message or I have no Rack Xs editor to choose in the “recall” or Preferences section of SM2 . I recently did a clean install of my OS, SM2 hasn’t worked since then I’ve corrected all permissions, several times. Regardless, SM2 2.3.1 is not working. After trying all, I removed all traces of the program from my computer (from Application Support, from caches, from preferences etc) and reinstalled. After reinstalling 2.3.1, Nothing shows up in the editor window, there are no choices. Then, I went and re downloaded the old version of the editor. The old editor contains more files than the new editor. The new editor seems to be a VST-only Editor. So I’m struggling to download all the proper things I need to make this work. Either way, Motif Rack XS editor is no longer available as an option. |

Sorry you are having an issue, you should call the Customer Support desk and have an Applications Specialist go over it with you… downloading “everything I can find at Yamaha” is a scary proposition… hopefully that is an exaggeration… trying things without direction usually never works. But please call in and they will direct you step-by-step through the process. |

@Yung Won
Bad_Mister has solved your problem in another post:
You need to open Studio Manager in Rosetta.
To do this, go to your APPLICATIONS folder
