I want some more pipe organ sounds.  Preferably without having to load samples.  Does anyone know if the pipe organ sounds for the motif ES that you can purchase will load and sound as good on a motif xs?  I have edited some organ sounds myself but am not very happy with them and I don’t want to start loading in samples everytime I turn the keyboard on.  I want to be able to set up a song/mix using scenes to create standard organ registrations for accompanying hymns.  I must be able to make it sound better than our old analogue organ at church!

Any help/advice appreciated.

Cheers

HI,
I can not help you much about how to edit your own pipe organ.
I have the Majestic pipe library From DCP (available in the mart) and it sounds great. It takes about 1 min to load. Just get your scores ready while it’s loading. You will have a full library of really great organ pipes. I baught it just to play the Bach Toccata… There some great sounds for wedding as well.

Just a question… Don’t you think that the Tyros 3 would make it better in a church rather than a Motif xs ?

Oups,
You have a Motif ES.... well I’ve never try it On a Motif ES but
Majestic pipes is a sampled library and with the motif Xs they use only 4 elements for their voices somtimes 5. So I would think that the sounds out of the ES and XS would be very similar and anyway a lot better than the ones you get in the Motif rom.

Cheers
