I’m presently using a Motif ES6 and use a double braced X stand . I’m planning to go for another keyboard (ES or XS) and now I need to choose between an Ultimate Apex Column and a Hercules Z stand..
Never got the chance to check out an Ultimate myself but forums say its rock steady. Please suggest which would be a better choice. Money’s no factor here. All I want is my keyboard to remain stable at all heights.Thnx in advance..

I have the Apex and love it! Couldn’t be happier. Some people complain about the sustain pedal not fitting square off but I just turn mine sideways and deal with it. No problems. Plus Ultimate has lifetime warantees and GREAT customer service. It’s compact and collapses into itself making for a very good “pack”. I have the older version not the newer ones that were announced at NAMM back in January! Good luck!

BTW - I have a two-tiered X-Stand I’ve used for the last 20 years or so. I leave it set up at the house now. If you like the stand you have (and the company is still in business) can you order a second tier for the one you have? Just a thought!

I’m sick and tired of using my present stand and no longer wish to continue with it.I’m planning to sell it to a friend of mine and will be going for an Apex (a bit expensive but its worth it). Thnx again.
