Just wondering… Does the Motif ES8 have all the sounds that the ES rack mount has? Or is there some differences.

es rack have more voices and performances 128 of each are more.

I just bought a used Rack ES, and was disappointed to find out that it doesn’t support the option to add a DIMM to store/play user samples.  Can’t load the sounds from the Sample Library CD that comes with the ES keyboards. :(

The ES Rack doesn’t have a VST Editor, how sad for Yamaha.
