I’m using the multi-editor sequence program with SQ01 and my motif es8.  I’m having a problem dumping the motifs sound/banks into the channel on the multieditor. (Here’s what I’ve done so far)
set up > recieve voice bulk > recieve type > normal user 1+2+ drum user.  But this only gives me those kits.  I need the rest to work with—keyboard, piano, syn leads, brass—and mix.  Hope I phrased this question so that somebody understands me. seeyouinsuccess.....

still looking for help with multi-part editor.  called yamaha but they take 24hrs to respond and call when im at work.  anybody out there...SOS

delete the program, reinstall, then do a bilk dump of all the sounds. had similar problem awhile back
