Can someone help me? I have a motif es that I use primarily for its sounds. I use it as a slave and pull the sounds in it with my external sequencer but I just recently bought the PLG150-AN and PLG150-DX and cant pull the sounds from these two PLG boards. does any one know what I need to do? |

Which sequencer are you using? Instructions may differ slightly, but the general idea is to use your Bank/Patch selection controls within your sequencer to access the PLG Boards within the Motif. Instructions for your Motif should ensure you’ve installed and can access the PLG boards properly. Hope this gets you aimed in the right direction. |

As suggested, you can access the PLG150 boards via the Motif ES’s MIDI interface, but first you will need to setup the ES to have the PLG boards to respond to the MIDI channel that your sequencer is sending their parts on. There are a number of articles that were written for the original Motif (the so-called Motif classic) that describe how to do this. These articles are not yet available on this site, but I have attached three of them to this post. One that describes how to add PLG150 boards to a song or pattern mix and one each that describes how to access the various voices available on the PLG150-AN and PLG150-DX.) While written for the Motif classic, these articles apply to the Motif ES as well. Check these out and if you have further questions, post them up here. Regards, Brad Weber File Attachments
