If I try and import my keyfax user sounds in this latest editor it keeps loosing connections after the data sync after I try to load a sound in Cubase 5.

Is this just me or anyone else noticing this?

I keep trying but it will not work correctly.. Help

Is there any chance a Yamaha rep could break this all down,as to why the connection keeps going away on the new vst3 editor. Is this simply a case of new buggy software? Is this a case of an issue while in cubase 5?

I’d really like to hear from someone who has the fix? :]

We have loaded sounds form Keyfax libraries and the XSpand Your World into both Cubase 5 and Cubase 4 AI without any problems.

We’d like to help, but you’re going to have to be more specific before we can offer any suggestions.

If you can post the way you are connected ( Motif XS Rack via USB), your port connections and exactly what steps you are taking, we could try to be more informative.

Also can you detail what MIDI controller and how it is connected in your system that would be helpful.  From looking at some of your other posts, it does not seem that you have things hooked up properly.  Again if you can post screen shots and details, it is very helpful.

My connections are as so.

XS Editor setup page - Midi In - Port 1 is blank _______ as it does not let me assign anything here..Port 4 is - Motif R xs 4

Midi Out - Port 1 - Motif R xs -1
Port 4 - Motif R xs -4 this is exactly what I have on the blue setup screen.

My midi controller is connected to a 4x4Usb midi interface..
I have no problems triggering the editor, but I do keep getting timeouts,so I do have a connection, but it keeps breaking it’s connection when I stress it?

Thanks for the response..

I can post the crash files if you need them as well..
