Hi, sorry if its a old question, but I really need some help here!
I have two files (X0V and X0W) from Motif XS

When I load them to USR memory, using the ALL Waveform and ALL Voice, it works, but wiping out all of my settings

I dont want to load them all.
I want specifc voices only and the waveforms loaded in FL1.

For God, I cant figure out this one!

Thank you

The most appropriate way to do what you want depends on a few things.

I presume that the X0W Waveforms are related to certain Voices in the X0V. (It that’s not true, please explain.)

Do you need all of the Waveforms, or just the ones for the Voices you want to load?

Were the two files created by a user, or are they from a commercial library?

How large is the X0V file?

How large is the X0W file?

Hi 5pinDIN,

yes, the X0W Waverforms are related to all Voices in the X0V

I need all the WaveForms, but I dont want to load all Voices. I just want to load the ones I liked more

They were created by Ksounds. I`m tring to load the KSoundsPiano 2

X0V file has 990KB
W0W file has 113MB

I suspected that you were dealing with a K-Sounds piano - that’s why I asked if it was a commercial library. Early versions of K-Sounds files for the XS (with Voices and Waveforms separate) are troublesome to load to an XF.

Newer Versions have a single “All” file, from which you can load specific Voices or a single Bank of Voices. The related Waveforms will load with the Voice(s).

If the XS files you have are an original purchase (not copies), then you may be able to get assistance from Keven Spargo.
-----------

Otherwise…
See Loading all user data or all data of a specific type on page 243 of the XF Reference Manual to load “all waveform”.
Be sure to set the “Load” setting USR > FL1.

Also see Loading a specific Voice or all the Voices of a specific Bank from an “all” or “all voice” file, beginning on page 243 of the XF Reference Manual.

However, getting the Voices to point to the location of the Waveforms correctly may be a challenge. Getting updated files is the best option, if possible.

Hi, 5pinDIN
Thank you for your help. I found the correct path do load it separately, without loosing my configuration and loading the exactly voice I want in the BANK of my choose!
Again, thank you very much
