Is there any way to reconfigure yamaha.sty files for use in motif xs6 as performances?.

I understand that the PSR s950 and Tyros series has the best styles.

Hope I am posting in the right section.

Thanks.

Yamaha style files (.STY) are specialized MIDI files. A very basic conversion can be done just by changing the .STY extension to .MID, which can then be loaded to the sequencer as file type SMF. Further work will be necessary so that proper Voices are assigned, etc. However, that won’t turn an XS into an arranger.
