A few weeks ago I created a new All file for a special gig and ended up recording some new User Arps. Drum lines, some horn fills for use on a few Performances. Did the gig, it all worked fine and I of course saved that All file.

Problem arose when I went back to my previous All file where I have my mainstay Perfs and Songs and Patterns. I went into that special gig All file and loaded the new Performances into the same slots and found of course that it wouldn’t play correctly because those new User Arps don’t exist.

So how do I bring those Arps over and update things? What is an All Arp file exactly and how do I keep everything up to date on my other All Files for the future. I never overwrite User Arps once I’ve given them a slot, just keep adding, so this should be easy, but I am not understanding the steps when it comes to Arps.

An “All Arp” file contains all the User Aps currently stored in the Motif when the file is saved. When an “All Arp” file is loaded, it overwrites the User Arps previously stored in the Motif.

Further assistance can vary depending on Motif model. You also posted in the MOXF forum…
