Still have my MofX. Purchased a Montage 7. Trying to get the Montage to be the master of the MOXF slave. What do I need? MIDI cable connecting the two, joining the two via HOST USB to the same computer? Things should not be this complicated. Also using Cubase 8.5 Pro. Are the two compatible as VST3’s in this DAW or does my Montage have to do all the MIDI talking? Thanks.

Since you have a computer in your setup, I would imagine you wouldn’t need the MIDI cable, but connecting both with USB should suffice.
