Thank you, stoneb3. It would be remiss of me not to make it clear that Michael Trigoboff deserves primary credit. He wrote the app, while my contribution has been mostly in helping to debug it and make some suggestions. Of course, VikasSharma‘s efforts are what made the Mac version a reality. I’ve been working on figuring out the file format for the MOX - it differs from the XS and XF in several ways. My progress should become apparent shortly.

Do you like your Montage better than the Motif?  I was curious what your opinion is between the two.  I know they are not the same type of instrument, the Montage is more of a synthesizer than a music production tool, but just want your opinion.

The sound quality is so much better. It’s like regular TV vs high-def TV.

It’s true that the Montage doesn’t do a lot of what the Motif XF did.  But the combination of the Montage and Cubase does all of it, and the Cubase user interface is much easier to work with than what’s available on the XF

And then there are the new features like ithe touch screen, FM-X, the Super Knob, etc.

To put it simply, I love it.

I’d like to thank you again for this kind offering as it has proven to be of great help to me and of course many others as well.

Nearly six months ago the Macbook Pro I had originally installed this on had a Sata Cable failure and as a result I lost all of the data on the machine. Foolishly I had never backed it up as I rarely used that MBP. Much to my dismay I visited this post and discovered the download link to be broken. Sad days. I should have brought it to your attention but didn’t want to trouble you. Fortunately RJ (keyman usa) possesses a larger pair than I and performed the deed. Happy days return and I am diggin it!
