Hi I’m having troubles with opening the VST EDITOR of the motif xf in Logic X, i have version 1.6.5 for mac but I’m Running MACos Sierra 10.12.6.
Is the VST editor supported by the MACos Sierra ??? or is there a newer version of the EDITOR?

heres the message I’m gettingThe requested URL /files/download/software/8/834938/motif_xf_editor_sa_vst_167_mac.zip was not found on this server.

Sorry. The recent change of download sites for Motif support by Yamaha has been unbelievably poorly implemented. There are missing files, some with 0 (zero) bytes, and dead links. I suggest that you contact Yamaha Support and ask them to fix the problem, or at least supply you with the needed file.

V1.6.6 has been available for a while, but the download page for it only indicates compatibility with 10.11, not 10.12. Since the PDF I referred to claims V1.6.6 is compatible with 10.12, please let us know what you experience.

Have you tried running it Standalone?

Did you contact Yamaha Support?

hi buddy thanks yes i tried it and it just wont work also the guy at yamaha support said he will have to check it and get back to me so ill have to wait. For now i just use midi it seems easier.

I’m using Cubase 7 and wanting to download v1.6.6 but unfortunately the download page is broken. Can someone help on this?

The link to the v1.6.6 download is indeed broken. If you need 1.6.6 then I suggest that you contact Yamaha Support in your country and ask them for it.

Version 1.6.5 is available…

...and is compatible with Cubase 7, but only up to Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).
