The MOXF USB ‘To Host’ is designed to be used with a compatible host, which means various types of computer and software with the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver installed. It is also class compliant with certain IOS devices as of the MOXF OS V1.10 update. Even if you could use a DAC, there would be an excellent chance that it would be latent, meaning that you would notice a short delay between playing a note and hearing it come out of the DAC. I suppose a good question is why would you want to use a DAC in that way when you could just use the analog left and right outputs? |
