Hi everyone,

I would like some information about the difference in Volume-settings in Cubase & the Moxf-VST.
As you can see in the screenshots there seem to be several locations where the volume can be adjusted. Can anyone tell me the difference?

I’d like to balance the overall Volume in my composition but I see some instruments having the volume at 90% and others on 5%.

P.s. I assume that the “editor-panel” (no screenshot) is only to adjust the intensity of an instrument.

Thanks in advance for your reply ;-)

Ed

The Global setting is the overall Volume.

The 16 Parts also have individual Volume settings.

As long as you have things properly synced, it shouldn’t matter whether you change those Volume settings via Cubase, the Editor, or at the MOXF itself.

Thanks 5pinDIN,

Since the use of the MOXF-VST has become a routine I just didn’t see the difference between the VST and the Cubase volume as separated. Lately I’m using HALion also, therefor it all got a little mixed up (glitch in the Matrix).
