Hi
I am using a motif xf8 for almost two years. During the last couple months I notice a volume drop after a hour of playing.
When I change to another voice the volume is raised again and then drop again after some minutes.
I use most of the time headphones but it happen when I use active speakers too (but the drop is smaller)
I took it to the official lab but they did not recognize the problem.
Is it a known issue? Can I fix it myself?

Thank you

To help diagnose what’s happening, a few questions…
What mode are you playing when this happens - Voice, Performance, etc.?

Do you use a foot pedal or the ribbon to control volume?

Is the volume restored if you quickly select another Voice, but don’t play it, then immediately reselect the Voice you were previously playing?

thanks for the response
i have a foot pedal (fc7+fc4) for release and expression they are connected but was not in use when it happened.
i am playing in voice mode (preset - GM A 1)
i think it is enough to switch to another voice to restore the volume level but it drops again after few minutes

thank you very much

I suggest that you disconnect the pedals and see whether the problem continues to occur.

You seem a bit unsure. When you hear the problem, please select GM A02 (don’t play it), then immediately back to GM A01, and play it again. Does that correct the problem?

You’re welcome. Let us know what happens after you try the above.
