I have sampled a Sawtooth Wave gererated by an small hardware oscillator. It is an electronic circuit that I assembled using the Integrated Circuit NE555. This circuit also generate perfect square or pulse waves and the best, it is pure analog. I got really nice voices in the category of Synth Strings, Pads and Synth Brass.

You may download these voices+multisamples here. The files are in Motif ES format (W7V/W8V) and Motif XS format (X0A), so that you just load it very easily.

Reminiscent of the days when ARPs, Oberheims and Sequential Circuits were popular. Those were the days.. Even if they were a bit temperamental.

When you click on zipped file you should see 3 files as the below screen:

You will see the files JCR_SAW.w7v and JCR_SAW.w8v, these both files are for use with Motif ES.

Also you will see the file JCR_SAW.X0V, this file is for use with Motif XS.

Pleese try to use the Winrar, that is a freeware, ok?

Download the ES_MO_2XS.zip file from that support article. Unzip it - you’ll find that one of the files is ES Pre123+Dr1-32.X0V, and Prophy is one of the Voices.

You’ll have to decide for yourself whether the result is close enough to what it sounds like on an ES.

Prophy is #107 in the USER 3 bank in ES Pre123+Dr1-32.X0V.

Where did you look for it to be “listed”?

Are you loading the Voice(s) to the XS? If so, by what Type - “all voice”, “1bankvoice”, or “voice”?

See Loading a specific Voice from an “all” or “all voice” file on pages 280-281 of the XF Owner’s Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/10074). To see and select Voices in the USR3 bank, be sure to press the [USER 3] button at step 5. For “Prophy”, scroll down to #107.
