Rest in peace, the world’s favourite space princess.

2016, you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!

I won’t mourn 2016’s departure. Here’s hoping the next one will be kinder.

nerf herder!

So I had to Google it, thought it was some underground British slang. I’m likely one of the few who have never seen the movies.

Sad news none the less. RIP.

Any Yamaha keyboard sounds on any of the Star Wars soundtracks?

Not that I’m aware of. As far as I know, a real symphony orchestra played the musical score for each movie. Typically it was the London Symphony Orchestra, with John Williams conducting his own compositions.

The closest thing to a “Motif” is probably that John Williams tended to use leitmotifs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leitmotif

To tell the truth, I was a bit more bummed about Princess Leia than I was about George Michael - although that sucked, too. Too young.

Greg Lake, Keith Emerson - those were major bummers.
