Hi, Will PLG-100-VH & 100 XG work inside CS6X? It may seem dumb asking but I just want to make sure!- VH is vocal harmony so it needs a mic signal going through it, right?-I read the instructions and it mentioned installing in slot 2 of Yamaha CS6X [which would mean it does work] The PLG 100 XG adds polyphony but also has voices but I could not get any sound out when it was installed. I’ve just put in PLG-150-PC-Into CS6X slot 1 and hey presto voices are there. Any info please say thanks |

Yeah I just checked the 100 XG boarda again with CS6X and no voices where showing up - There are 480 of them along with 12 drumkits.
On an MU1000 I’ve got 3 x 150 boards all work
I can’t try the VH board yet but the XG with voices on should work straight off the bat shouldn’t it? |

I’ve kept looking at this to get it worked out ASAP - Other may chip in too! - The PLG 100 XG - Does work, and the sounds can be accessed - On the CS6X the patches are accessed in a different way - through PERFORMANCE MODE, EDIT then on parts 17-32 the PLG XG 100 patches can be played where as on parts 1-16 the INTernal patches are played. Odd thing is they share the same 16 MIDI channels. The CS6X manual wasn’t clear on this [unless I missed it]-I’ve found a Yamaha Power Users guide for the PLG 100 XG pertaining CS6X, S90 etc..... |
