I now have the homestudio setup with Yamaha HS5 and hs8s sub. I think that the middle frequencies disappears. Can I fix it with a setting?

Anyone have advice or experience with this setup?

- considering whether I should buy HS8 or hs7 to “solve” it?

yes, please read carefully the Owner’s Manual. If you are going to use a sub, naturally you have to setup the crossover point.

Missing midrange frequencies would indicate a setup error.
