I received my 1gb flash today. Im looking to see what sounds or libraries are the most useful to have on it? I mostly play pop and rock music. I have bought chicks mark v rhodes and a few other packs..but as I only have 1gb and chicks mark v is over 400mb..my 600mb i want to use wisely. What sounds or libraries do you suggest I load to flash?

I started out learning the Motif with the Flash option installed.  Took some time but I seamed to of figured it out with the help of this forum.  I too wanted to create a custom sound bank that spanned across multiple sound library’s so I could maximize the space on the flash board.  I’m sure you could do all this from the Motif itself but opted for the John Melas tools to help.

I went through each soundbank I had and made a list of each sound I wanted to keep.  Then imported each one over to my own custom bank.  If you already understand how to do all this then awesome.  As far as which one’s are the one’s you’ll like it’s entirely up to you.  They all have bit’s and pieces you could probably use.  Great ideas and inspiration can come from all kinds of genra’s.

I got mine today to.....:)
It,s hard to know what voices you like to play - Right now I am loading Easy Sounds phatanalog! since this comes in sampled and NO sampled versions I already know what it sounds like. it will only be better:)

My suggestion would be wait with installing, chicks mark v.
And load the other stuff and see if you really want/need it.

Or install chicks mark v,make an backup with samples, then load the other stuff.
