I had a Motif ES 3 years back that I sold, now I’m considering to buy MOXF, I still have my old libraries and files from my Motif ES, so can I load them into the MOXF? if not what is the best way to convert them?

The Motif ES (2003) is ten years ago, sorry, the MOXF is now far more powerful than the ES. Besides so much has changed it not possible to simply load your data to the MOXF.

If you saved your Songs as Standard MIDI Files you can load that data yo virtually any other sequencer on the planet. The Voice architecture of the MOXF is significantly different from the ES. 8 a Elements per Voices versus four. All new Filters, envelopes, effects, parameters not even invented 10 years ago.

Sad that I cannot do much with my Motif ES files..

One more question, how is MOXF and Logic Pro X compatibility and usage?

Hi,
I can tell you after converting my last 7 years of ES voices and performances that it can be done if you have access to a XF.
By having the XF import the ES all file and then export a XF ALL file you will be in a great position to begin the process.

Loading individual performances will give you all your splits, levels and part assignments. You will of course have to go to each part and either:

1. Find a MOXF comparable voice (using category search and auditioning is useful)
2. Load in a converted user voice from the newly created file and perhaps do some editing on the waveform selections for elements and then assign that to the desired part. Filter envelopes and amplitude envelopes generally translate well. Effects do not.

Its far from ideal and it does take some time, but very doable.

Of course the MOXF brings with it a tremendous advance in the overall architecture, so you will want to explore what you can do with new voices and performance going forward without having to resort to your old ones.

Just to expand a little on what mitchk000 provided, Here is what you need to convert the ES files to a format that can be read by the XF, and then you can save as XF files to be read by the MOXF.

Will certainly be some work to get everything sorted out though!

hello. send me the library files sounds W7A w8A in zip folder of emails on correct address is you convert them into motif xf format. I heard that moxf reads the format of xf. I have the chicken systems translator program. with what it is possible to convert from format in Es Xf. I also think taking the moxf. for me is the best keyboard of the world with 1000e! only problem is that the sounds convert them all into individual parts. so you should import all the sounds one to one.
