I know the moxf has the same sounds as the motif xf, but does it have the same number of performances as well?
I know it has some different ones nad half of user locations, but does it have the same number of performances?

I can’t seem to find clear information about this.

Perhaps you’re unsure about this because you’re not aware that Performances aren’t Presets (they’re not in ROM). Every Performance is stored in a User Bank location, so since the MOXF has half the User Performance locations that the XF has, it can only have half the number of Performances available at any time. Of course, any or all of those Performances can be changed.

I know that, but i thought it had the performances PLUS the user space to store new ones !

All PERFORMANCES are in USER locations.  They are place holders until you replace them (or not) with your own custom or modified PERFORMANCES.

There are no blank PERFORMANCE USER locations.
