Will the manuals and voice- and data lists be released before the actual synth is out?.. |

By popular demand there will be no Owner’s Manuals with the Motif XF… we decided since no one reads them anyway and those that do, hate them, we’d try something new :-) I’d imagine they are going to posted pretty soon now… |

Most of my bed-time reading involves reading various instruction Manuals....very relaxing…

I also like to read manuals, specially from machines I don’t own :P
I really love to read a well written and well presented manual, there is a huge amount of work behind. |

I guess I’mm one of the oddballs who read the entire manual before I turn on a machine..... Seems to help.

That’s not good either. You should read the manual as you explore the machine. I haven’t read the entire manual of the XS, simply because there are functions I don’t currently need. But yeah, I admit, I love to have the manual before the machine is released, to have an overview of what it can do and have better understanding and a bigger picture of what’s written in the specifications charts. |

Exactly the same with me. I like to have the manual, preferably in PDF format, to explore the product before try and buy it. |

Before I’ve bought my ES, I read all necessary things from manual, but mostly the most important things: how to select different playing modes and to hook-up computer. Other things comes later.

Well, now that I know “how” to read a Yamaha manual, I am looking forward to see this one.
But thank you, “Bad 1” for those Power User Guides!
