Hi All,

I have a yamaha motif classic and am trying to use the soft synths in Sonar 8.  Getting sound, but the issue is that there is a delay between when i hit the keys on the motif and when i hear the sound through the soft synth...is there something i need to download from the site to get this working properly?  any advice would be appreciated.

The ‘latency’ you are experiencing is not due to the Motif, but has to do with your computer’s ability to process the midi and audio. This can be a fairly involved process to diagnose and correct, so I suggest that you wold be much better served by asking this question on the Cakewalk forum at http://forum.cakewalk.com/default.aspx
