Hi, i´m using my Motif XS 8 with Sonar8 for recording and play back thru mLan and sometimes it stop sounding, i don´t know what happend. I tried to change the latency and other parameters but is igual. Somebody can help me… I Have a pc HP 8400 dualcore with 4GB RAM and vista ultimate… Thanks

it happens with Cubase AI4 to… we talk about wav tracks recorded. The player do not stop, it steel running but no sound some seconds and after sounds again…

I’ve had that issue with mine, even playing ordinary MP3s through Window’s Media Player.

On mine, I discovered that when that happened, it was because some background process took off and consumed too much CPU, and caused the audio to stop for a period of time.

I disabled all those processes and have yet to have that problem again.

Go install a Widget on your desktop sidebar that monitors CPU utilization.  See if that’s what is happening to you.

Hi There, finaly, my problem was repaired. It was the wirelles making things when activate. I stop it and my problems gone. Somebody told me that the wireless antena need a lot of power and it always run and stop process even the internet explorer is running or not...best wish all of you…
