I own the MO8 Keyboard
The Category Search for Sounds and Favorits buttons quit working. Is there a parameter in the keyboard that turns them own and off or do I need do a factory reset to try and get them back?  Thanks, Norm

I don’t use the MO8 but I guess there’s something wrong with the button itself (trust me, I hate saying this). I don’t think there’s some way you can actually turn off a button’s function but rather than jumping to conclusions, I’ll suggest you back up all your voices and other data on the card or usb and try resetting the keyboard to its factory state.. If that too doesn’t help, go consult a yamaha service personnel.

I once had that problem on my ES: that button failed.

... then I remembered that I did a factory reset after a problem loading a library: all favourites were gone.

As soon as I made a new favourite it worked again.
Since then: BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP.

;BACKUP!  Eh, sorry, ;JOOP!
