What’s going on. I recently purchased an iMac that I have been using to record the beats I have made on the MO8. However, I have noticed that when I am recording from the MO8 to the Mac (using GarageBand), there is a weird feedback/white noise in the background. I am using a Lexicon Alpha to record into the Mac from the MO8. I think the Lexicon may be the root of the problem, however, I am not sure. There are no “pre amp” buttons I can screw around with on the Lexicon that would allow me to figure out where this excess noise is coming from. I am using a standard sound card (whatever came with this iMac). The thing is, I used to record into my PC using Cubase and there was no excess/white noise in the background. I used the Lexicon for the PC also. Anyone have any idea’s as to how I could get rid of this noise?

I’m using directly from MO8 output to Mac without mixer. Sound is perfect and clean. You can adjust input from your garage band.
