Sometimes when I load certain “All” files, my sequencer does not work at all, frozen or crashed just like a computer will do sometimes. Is this a compatibility problem or what? Maybe not enough memory? What should I do? Everything else seems to work fine. When this happens; I have to turn it off and open it again. Can someone help please?

Check your USB connection. Things like these happen only when there’s something wrong with your flash drive or maybe the USB port itself. At times, the USB port lossens up.. Hope this helps

I will check the USB thumb drive, but I think it also did it once with the smart media card. I have some twiddly bits files with a lot of GM setups so maybe the sequencer gets mixed up. Thanks anyway

There could be a problem with MIDI file. Before you press Play in sequencer go to Mixing and initialize mix with GM (General MIDI)option selected. For instance, I found similar problem in some MIDI files. When I played them from Cubase, everything is OK. But, after recording MIDI to ES sequencer and trying to play from ES, sequencer was freezed. The reason was duration of some notes that is longer than duration of the song. Cubase obviosly “automatically” solve this, but ES don’t.
