If your intention is to use the Studio Manager 2.3.0 and the Motif-Rack XS Editor - you needed to download the correct version. You downloaded the VST version of the Editor.

You want to go back to the download page and download the Motif-Rack XS Editor version 1.1.1 This is the latest Studio Manager version.

The one you downloaded is the Motif-Rack XS Editor VST 1.2.0 (which is for those using the Motif Rack XS with an mLAN16E2)

Hope that helps.

Bad Mister, thanks for this. It was driving me crazy, I didn’t know why the editor just did not want to work under cubase Ai 4.5.2. However, I must say that the info on http://www.yamahasynth.com/downloads is wrong in regard to the 1.2.0 editor - it says it requires USB or Firewire… there’s no indication that it does not work with USB… Had the same issue as above. Now I’ve downloaded Editor 1.1.1 and everything is fine.
cheers
