For the life of me I can’t figure out......when using my own built performances, when I need to stop the arp......if I THEN hit any other key I get the drum sample for that key. (I have always worked around it with volume controls on the drums....leaving them silent until I need the arp on, etc.)

For, I am sure, a simple reason........when I turn off the arp on factory performances, I don’t hear the drum samples being triggered.  I would love to “FIX” my simple performances so they also would react that way.

Or am I just crazy?

It is a little disconcerting when finishing a beautiful ballad and having a whistle or other percussion sound screaming in!

Thanks for any help.

Brad

We can’t have you questioning your sanity. The following should help. :-)

For the drum Part, turn on ”ARP Play Only”. See (16) on pages 109 and 110 of the XF Reference Manual.

Wow!  Man, you are the best!  These instruments are so powerful, yet can be so complicated.

BeeRad -

These instruments are so powerful, yet can be so complicated.

Indeed - lots of control, lots of things to control.
