Can you refer me to a reference that will explain how one can edit long full-song voice solo recordings done as separate takes using the integrating sampling button.  The problem is that I would like to cut parts of one take and substitute it into parts of another take and build the best performance of the singer from multiple takes.  This is very cumbersome using the sample editor.  One can produce each take on a separate track but one then is using up many tracks.  There doesn’t seem to be any way to “cut and paste” from one track to another and then retain only the edited composite track and delete all the other tracks that have had parts of them removed.  Most DAW’s allow visual cutting and pasting of parts of one track into another but the beauty of the Motif system is that everything needed for music production is in one machine!

Thanks for any help you can give me.
