Can someone PLEASE provide the SysEx command to change to PERFORMANCE Mode USER 1?
I can use:
F0 43 10 7F 1C 00 0A 00 01 01 F7
to get to the PERFORMANCE Mode… but not specifically to USER 1 Bank.

Welcome to the forum.

The SysEx message you posted is indeed correct for selecting Performance mode. Once in Performance mode, selecting the Bank is done with a Bank Select message. See the Bank Select table on page 123 of the MOXF Data List (http://download.yamaha.com/file/60483).

For USER 1 the Bank Select MSB/LSB is 63/09
