I have been using Cubase 7.5.40 (64 bit) on my PC (6G RAM, Intel core i7, Windows 7), and it works fine.

I just installed that same version of Cubase on my new Microsoft Surface3 tablet (4G RAM, Intel® Atom™ x7-Z8700 processor, Windows 8.1 x64) and it seems to be working well, except:

The Forward and Rewind Transport commands do not work.

When I hit + or – on the numeric keypad, I can see the correct transport button light up on the screen, but the project cursor (the vertical line) never moves. Forward and Rewind also don’t work if I tap the Transport buttons with my finger or the stylus.

I tried deleting all of the user settings files, but it did not help.

Is there a way to get these Transport commands to work?
