I love using the ASCII. I notice when for example you store something and the XS asks if you are sure, the ASCll +/- doesn’t work for yes or no. Is there another command?

Readily resolved. I specifically addressed that issue, which Yamaha never documented, in my previous posts in these threads…

Nice. I must have missed that in our previous conversations. Also do you have any idea why when scrolling on the ASCll, it moves so much faster on the ASCll than it does on the XS arrows?

With computers, keyboard repeat rate can typically be set in the OS. For the Motif, Yamaha chose a fixed rate for ASCII keyboards. I’m glad the rate they decided on isn’t sluggish, and many things get done faster than with the Motif’s panel controls.
