Hi,

I just saw a video on YouTube where a guy, playing the Motif XS, has assigned voices to the sliders.
I’ve looked in the manual and the DataList, but couldn’t find how to accomplish this.

Can somebody help me out with this (or tell me where to find this in the manual/DataList)?

Hope to hear from someone,

Greetings,
Ron

Presuming that what you want is to independently control Volume of layered Voices…

If four Voices is sufficient, then a Performance is the easiest - the control sliders default to Volume.

Otherwise, a Zoned Master associated with a Song or Pattern Mixing will allow for control of up to eight Voices. See http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/understanding_motif_xs_master_mode

Hi 5pinDin, No he actually assigned voices to the sliders; f.e. drawbar organ to slider one, strings to slider 2, etc.

The Voices get assigned to Parts in a Mixing, similarly to what’s described in this support article…
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/using_a_mixing_setup_for_multiple_sounds_live
...and then the Mixing is associated with a Master, properly zoned.
