I’m controlling another keyboard with my Motif XS7 in Master mode.  Is the expression pedal hardcoded to only send Midi CC 11?

The keyboard I’m controlling doesn’t respond to this and I want to know if I can change it. 

I already did some googling but I can’t seem to find anything.

FC1 by default is set to cc011, but it is not “fixed”.
FC1 is generally used at that setting for Expression Volume, while FC2 by design was intended to be the go-to programmable pedal input...but you aren’t necessarily required to do it that way.

Perhaps a good starting point for you (since we are not sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish) is This Article.
