Hi.

Motif XF here.

I can’t transmit arpeggio data to my DAW (Sonar) through Arpeggiator MIDI Output. I don’t know what is happening.

I even factory-reseted Motif.

Step by step:

- Voice mode
- PRE2 E 2 (2 Steel Strings)
- Arpeggio I want is already preseted (1510-MA_Strum1)
- At first, arpeggio works fine (on)
- UTILITY button
- F3 Voice tab
- SF3 Arpeggio tab
- Change ARP MIDI Out Switch to “on”

Bug happens. The arpeggio is messed up.

I tried many things, nothing worked.

Help, please.

Well, I tried something new. It seems I didn’t set MIDI channels in Sonar properly. When I closed the program, the arpeggio worked properly, no matter ARP MIDI Out Switch is on or off. If I find out the issue, I’ll post it.

I found out the issue. One of the MIDI Channels of my Sonar file was set a different MIDI input (All Input), instead of “YmhMTF”. I changed it and everything was back to normal.

It was a noobie issue, but maybe the topic can help someone in the future…
